Description
Barramundi or Asian sea bass is widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific region from Sumatra to Papua New Guinea and South of Indonesia to Northern Australia. Barrmundi itself is adopted from an Australian Aboriginal language in Queensland that means “large-scaled river fish”
Benefit
Barramundi is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, protein, healthy fats, vitamin A, vitamin D, sodium, and potassium. This fish has a relatively low content of mercury and PCBs.
