Description
Parrotfish is actually a group of 95 different kind of species that belong to family (Scaridae) They live in coral reefs, rocky coasts, and seagrass beds. Parrotfish name is derived by their fused teeth that has a close resemblance to a bird’s beak. The teeth are used for scraping algae and invertebrates from coral and rocks. This fish is found in Sumatra coastal line and Sulawesi coastal line.
Benefit
This fish has a benefit to help on rheumatoid arthritis, a condition which causes the joins to swell up. It has also been found a link between omega-3 fats and osteoarthritis, that this fish could prevent the disease.
